Description: Tomb Raider: Chronicles reveals four newly discovered, and previously untold adventures, taking you on a journey from the ruins of Rome, to the bowels of a German U boat, to the rooftops of a hi-tech city in a search of four ancient artifacts. In light of Lara's recent disappearance, those closest to her gather together at the Croft Estate on a gray, rainy day for a memorial service in her honor. Afterwards, the friends sit quietly together in the study of the Croft Mansion and provide new insights about Lara's past exploits; exploits that have until now remained a secret...Lara Croft is missing, presumed dead in Egypt. Three of her closest friends, Father Patrick Bram Patrick Dunstan, Charles Kane (formerly known as Jean-Yves) and her butler Winston, meet at Croft Manor to reminisce about four of her adventures. The game brings us to Rome in 1995 to accompany Lara on her hunt for the Philosopher's_Stone. In part 2 Lara visits the Russian port Zapadnaya Litsa in 1998 to find a sunken German submarine believed to have carried the Spear of Destiny. Part 3 takes us back to 1984, when Lara was sweet sixteen and visited the Irish Black Island to conquer demons. The final part takes place in 1997 in New York where Lara steals the Iris from Werner von Croy's office building.
There aren't many new features in Tomb Raider Chronicles. Lara has learned to tightrope-walk, she can now roll out of crawlspaces head first and she has a hand to hand combat move when approaching guards from behind with a chloroform-drenched cloth.
