Weapons, Ammo and Medikits
Pistols (from the beginning):
Lara has unlimited ammo for these and will always carry two of them with her. They are not very effective but most of the opponents can be killed with them. If you run around a lot and circle your opponents they will suffice most of the time. Locations: Offshore Rig
Shotgun (from the beginning):
The shotgun takes long to load but it's very effective and takes only a couple of hits to kill an opponent. Useful against dogs, leopards and also humans. Locations: Offshore Rig, Diving Area, 40 Fathoms, Wreck of the Maria Doria, Living Quarters, The Deck
Automatic Pistols (since Venice):
The automatic pistols are similar to the pistols but a bit more effective. You you say they are half way between the pistols and the Uzis. Good for close range fights. Locations: Venice, Bartoli's Hideout, Opera House, Offshore Rig, Diving Area, Wreck of the Maria Doria, Living Quarters, The Deck, Catacombs of the Talion
Uzis (since Bartoli's Hideout):
They are very effective but waste a lot of ammo. Use them against opponents you have to kill quickly. It's also a good choice against the Dragon and the Guardian of the Talion. Locations: Bartoli's Hideout, Opera House, Offshore Rig, Diving Area, Wreck of the Maria Doria, Living Quarters, The Deck, Barkhang Monastery, Catacombs of the Talion
M16 (since Diving Area):
The M16 is a very good weapon for long range fights. It kills opponents quicker that the Uzis. You can't use it for close range. Lara won't be able to aim. Locations: Diving Area, Wreck of the Maria Doria, The Deck
Grenade Launcher (since The Great Wall):
The grenade launcher is the most effective weapon in TR2. It can be used against all opponents and will blast most of them away with just one hit. This weapon is also a good choice against the Dragon or the Guardian of the Talion.
Locations: The Great Wall, Opera House, Wreck of the Maria Doria, The Deck, Catacombs of the Talion,
Ice Palace
Harpoon Gun (since Offshore Rig):
The Harpoon Gun is the only underwater weapon. It's not very effective but better than nothing against Moray Eels, divers and sharks. Locations: Offshore Rig, Diving Area, 40 Fathoms, Wreck of the Maria Doria, Living Quarters
small Medipack:
By taking a small medipack Lara will regain 50% of her strength.
large Medipack:
By taking a small medipack Lara will regain all of her strength.
