Eidos has released a second 'Beneath the Surface' trailer, shedding more light on the game's key artifact and how it's relevant to the game. Showcasing a familiar cutscene regarding Thor's Belt and Hammer, Underworld is looking even better than ever. No spoilers in this trailer, although it is confirmed what Thor's Hammer is meant to be used for.

The brand new gameplay trailer has been revealed, finally showing us more of Lara's new moves, locations, and the improved graphics and gameplay system. I won't spoil too much, but it does show why Lara's mansion is destroyed and introduces a character from Legend who may have turned on Lara, and a very interesting, familiar enemy.

Tomb Raider Underworld is rising.

A new Lara Croft Model has been unveiled yesterday. Alison Carroll will replace Karima Adebibe for Tomb Raider Underworld. You can find an interview with her on the BBC website. She talks about her training to become Lara Croft.

Ian Livingstone, the product acquisition director at Eidos has commented that because the company is taking Tomb Raider to all new directions in the upcoming game 'Tomb Raider Underworld', the company has indeed considered a multiplayer option.

“We have looked into multiplayer aspects of Tomb Raider”, comments Livingstone when talking to Playr (Bravo’s weekly gaming show). He goes on to comment on multiplayer options.

Nothing has been set in stone, or publicly announced officially from the company itself, so this may just be a consideration-on-paper.

I'll just tell you that it opens a lot of new questions and may be the intro to the Tomb Raider Underworld storyline. How it's connected is unclear so far.
